We donate to Hope ry to support families in need.
We deliver all donation-eligible items to charity through Hope ry. Hope is a volunteer-based organization that works towards ensuring children in Finland have more equal opportunities for a good life.
Hope provides concrete clothing and item donations to low-income families and families that have experienced crises, as well as offering hobby support and recreational activities for children. In Finland, there are families with children living below the poverty line who struggle daily to make ends meet. The clothing and item donations distributed through Hope bring relief to the daily lives of these families.
We only donate from Kidia to Hope ry. perfectly tidy, up-to-date and clean clothes, goods and toys. We carefully go through the donations and sort them by size before donating.
The rest of the waste is sorted properly
The rest of the products to be recycled are properly sorted for waste collection according to the type of waste.
Our mixed waste ends up at Vantaa Energy's waste-to-energy plant, where the combustion energy is recovered and the flue gases are cleaned. The result is district heat and electricity.
